M*CARBO trigger spring for Marlin 25

Post by Henry88 » Sat Feb 16, 2019 12:47 pm

Hey all,

This morning I installed my trigger spring from M*CARBO into my Marlin 25.

OMG

This rifle was so accurate, but had a terrible trigger.

So much effort was required to pull the trigger, it was difficult to keep the gun pointing straight. I kid you not.

Now it feels like the accutrigger on my XT. It's less than half, and I can see why. The original spring was ridiculously heavy for the job at hand, which is simply to hold the trigger in position.

Anyway, these are popular old rifles and anyone struggling with trigger pull as I was should look into this. On my gun, I don't have the trigger housing with the e -clips. Mine is more like my old Winchester, VERY simple. It took 3 min, no kidding.

Here is the video. The spring was $20 delivered.

Good Luck

I have a 25 N, and a 25 MN, they are not the greatest but over all not to bad.
