One thing leads to another Lever Gun

Post by dddrees » Tue Jan 15, 2019 12:31 pm

After getting my Winchester 1866 and 1873 I really got interested in getting another lever gun. I initially intended to get a Marlin 1894 but unfortunately I wanted one which was no longer being made. I actually found a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Octagon in 24inch on Gunbroker but was outbid. I just didn't want to go any higher and I didn't want the shorter rifle currently being sold. However since I fell in Luv with the idea of getting a 45LC decided to get another 1873 instead.

Well anyway here is the Winchester I decided to get instead.

Love the semi/half pistol grip on those. Very old time classy. Beautiful guns, all. You're going to love shooting the 45 Colt in a rifle. Just ask RR. :)

Nice looking rifle but that case colored '73? With the select wood is awesome! '73 of some sort keeps calling to me...

Thank you sir. Initially I thought the Yellow Boy would be my favorite, but upon recieving my 1873 in CCH I just knew the 73 would be my favorite. Still like the Yellow Boy though.
