Surplus

Post by markiver54 » Sat Jan 12, 2019 2:44 pm

I inherited a Norinco SKS from my brother in law when he passed. It is missing the bayonet though. Would like to restore to original by finding a replacement. I have learned that some had a blade and some were the spike version. Is there any way to tell which was on this one and where to find one?

This might help some: http://worldbayonets.com/Bayonet_Identi ... guide.html

Spike bayonets were used on these models:
1949 Tula Russian SKS-45, the Chinese Type 56 from mid 1964 onward, and the Albanian Model 561

Good luck finding one. :)
