NCG, that is a gorgeous rifle. I think you might have me convinced to go with one. I have heard many great things about tikka and I have considered getting one in synthetic as my bad weather rifle. Well, now it’s looking like I’m shopping for two rifles instead of one. You all do great work feeding my spending habits :lol: . Thanks for everyone’s input

I had a Ruger No. 1 in .270 (sold it) and then I got a Ruger No. 1 in 25-06. I like the 25-06 a lot better for hunting in this area. It's a very accurate rifle. Nothing wrong with the .270 at all. It's a great caliber.
