Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I bought an H&R Handi very cheap in 17 HMR that the owner was unable to get a group within 4" at 100 yards. Had the muzzle re-crowned and it shot less than an inch with several types of ammo. Just FYI.

I almost bought one in .44 last week. It was on the clearance rack at a local shop.

You should have - if the price was right - what were they asking?

My .223 Handi-Rifle shoots very well - I got lucky!

It was $249 CDN (~ $189 US) which is roughly $100 less than than the regular price. This was the composite stock model with no sights and a scope rail. I seriously considered it, but I have a Ruger .44 carbine (thanks to Redthies), and there was another rifle there that I've had my eye on for a while...I ended up getting a super deal on a Ruger 77/22 (.22LR).

Thats a very good price - unfortunately the scope rail only option narrows the market.
