cz 455 vs 527

Post by bmsma » Sun Oct 07, 2018 9:58 am

first off big thanks to everyone, and huge big thanks to NCG,

in reading and talking i had pretty much decided to obtain a CZ 455, BUT a cz 527 .223 popped up on armslist about 3 hours away at a price worht driving for

are the CZ centerfires known for being as accurate as the rimfires ??

thanks all

Im not sure about the 223 model but I have one in a 762x39 that a friend gave me new in the box. I scoped it and shot some of the rounds I have for my AR in the same caliber. All I can say is I was totally impressed with the accuracy of mine. Dont have a target handy to post but it was shooting under inch groups at 100 yards easy. Hickok45 has a video on one and he liked it as well. The set trigger on that rifle really makes that gun a nice one for sure. The trigger was great.

Thanks Al.
and its still on the short list, a 527 & 455/452, but wife had me stop at a estate sale on the way home from church and 2 j&m marlins 336s followed us home.

so i think im going to sell one and keep one, and use the proceeds to put a optic on the 10/22 and look for a CZ bolt
