My .44 Mag Henry barrel made it to the Canadian warranty depot via USPS no problem at all. (Now I have to deal with a gunsmith with MANY 1 star reviews). Hopefully the stock set gets here before May…

Hey Red, there's a guy over on MO wanting to do just the opposite with his 1895.
Not sure if those trigger plates are interchangeable, but worth investigating.

And thank you for that! My Boyds stock set is now at the post office. Almost $40 in duty and taxes owing! What a load of crap. Whatever happened to “free trade”?

I’m thinking of a lot of comments regarding taxes and duty but in the spirit of Easter weekend I’ll keep them to myself

The stock set is pretty nice! The forend is much slimmer than the factory laminated one, so between that, the lack of pistol grip, and the inherent lighter weight of the solid walnut, I bet I lose a full pound of weight.
