I’m not “looking” for a .45-70, but I could sell one a lot easier than my 7-08. This has become a quest for honesty. I hate to be lied to, so I got my son to message the seller and ask “how long have you owned the 7-08? If he says “I just took it in trade” I will blow him up on our local hunting site. He sells a lot of guns there, and we have a zero tolerance policy for dishonesty. I hate liars😡

Sorry to keep you all in suspense… I’m on holidays where there are palm trees and sun!

As I thought he replied to my son’s inquiry with “oh yes, I just took in trade a few days ago”. Man, I hate dishonesty.
