I have had the Model 89 for a few years now it is well made and great for a lefty as it is a top eject.

Those appear to be really high quality rifles.

Probably one of the best made rifles I have ever owned. Made from SST with the fancy walnut, the coating is black nitrate which wears like iron. Basically, CNC machined, and hand made. Currently BHA is the only manufacturer making a .500 S&W rifle. I have asked Henry to at least make a single shot but to no avail and would purchase one if they did make them.

Mighty fine looking lever gun, how's the recoil?
I've shot one of those Smith's, but it's been a good may years ago.
I was impressed, and amazed at how manageable it was.
Oh, I like the avatar. ;)

Nice looking wood on that boomer. Something tells me that the butt cuff is homemade.

BTW, in your introduction post I mentioned BrokenolMarine’s work and to look in the Hobbies topic. Also check out the Knives topic to see his leatherwork.

I too like your avatar, both the quality of work and the message itself.

Pocket change for some people. They are beautiful rifles but at the price I see those sell for I believe I would need to take a pass.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Handloader, that is a pretty neat rifle. While I have examined the .500 and .460 revolvers from S&W, it never occurred to me that someone might make a rifle for those cartridges.
Do you hunt with it? How did it do if you got something?

That is a great looking beastly lever rifle you have! Yes how is the recoil and do you reload for that too? I remember seeing Hickok45 do a review on that rifle I think. What grain bullets work well thru it?

Was looking on their site and see they charge an 11% Fed. Tax. Why is that?
