Vaquero -

It just doesn't seem right to sell off a dog to an unknowing buyer. That's why I would explore the possibility of a quality replacement barrel. That said, it will become an very expensive rifle if a good gunsmith installs a quality barrel.

Well, you could inform the potential buyer of the problem, sometimes it's better to cut your loses and move on.
As Harry Potterfield says inaccurate rifles aren't any fun.
