Owner wanted $300 I gave him $400 never seen another in NZ . Not sure if I paid too much but to me it was worth it, and gave an old man some extra cash that he needed.

No, you didn't pay too much, especially if the gun is in working order and in that beautiful a shape. One like that would disappear in a hurry, over here.

When we see these, over here, now, they're usually not in working order and are typically bought as a gun to rebuild and refurbish. Not an easy thing to do, since not much for parts, anymore. I've passed on a couple of these project guns simply for lack of time to rebuild them. Would love to have one in good working order, though, to add to the collection. Thanks for sharing.

It is in very good working condition and accurate. About 2 shots out of 50 fail to fire on the first hammer strike but do on the second. Not sure if it's been refinished.
