My New Gun Rack
My New Gun Rack
I wanted to take some pictures of my rifles outside so I was going to make a rack of some type to display the guns.
Then I saw a Horse Jump I made for my grand-daughter a couple of years ago that had some "Patina" and decided to go with that.
My Lever .22 rifles, Winchester 9422, Uberti Silverboy and Henry Golden Boy
Hammer rifles adding Rossi 62 copy of Winchester
This shot shows all four types of repeating .22 rifles, Lever, Pump, Auto and Bolt.
The auto is a Winchester 490 and the bolt is a CZ452 American with a Nikon scope.

That's OK, that 17.2 hand Hanoverian can easily handle these low jumps.RanchRoper wrote:The rifle jump is one of the most intimidating on the show circuit.

RanchRoper We Cheat! They use a small stepladder at the shows but I built the staircase just in front of the horse's right front hoof in this picture.RanchRoper wrote:Yikes, I thought my 16.2 paint was a challenge to get on and off of....Danwin22 wrote:That's OK, that 17.2 hand Hanoverian can easily handle these low jumps.RanchRoper wrote:The rifle jump is one of the most intimidating on the show circuit.

Re: My New Gun Rack
Well don't tell my saddle pals, but I try to mount from the upside of the hill, or look for a rock to stand on....hey it's tough to get the leg up with long johns, canvas trousers and heavy chaps on! It's nothing to do with getting old.
She looks like she's having a ball. Good for her! I can't see her face in that photo but I'm betting smile from ear to ear would sum it up.
