I'm not too familiar with the Navajo Nation and Guns, but it should be an improvement.

Ain't it a co-incidence that the quality of Remington dropped and not long after they are going bankrupt.

I am done with all things Remington, I hope if they get taken over it is by a company that cares about quality. I will then reconsider.

Hmm. As a lever guy, I wonder what will become of the Marlin line? Man, Remington really has been spiraling down for some time now. Too bad, as they were once such big, proud firearms co., and now.......

Glad to say, my only Remington is my 870 magnum 12 ga bought in the early 80's.

My only Remington is also a Wingmaster. 20 ga built on a 12ga frame. It's my dove and quail gun. 1975. Beauty!

I made the mistake and bought a Remlin 357 stainless lever. Its a terrible gun and I have yet to find a load it cares for. I haven't tried the Rifletom 180's yet but I will soon. I do have another older Rem 700 BDL Varmint barrel in 243. Its a great rifle and is a shooter for sure. But the 357 I bought told me never again when I got no customer service with its issues.

I’ve had several Remingtons over the years and they all have been great. I’m now down to one 870 Express Home Defense 12 ga and the downfall of this once great gunmaker is depressing.

To me, American made firearms are like American made vehicles. It is a matter if the company is playing the long game (profit over time) or the short game (a quick buck). Companies that play the long game seem to be around for years to come. The ones that play the short game seem to burnout. I don't know all of the details behind Remington. But, it seems like it is being used as an escape goat. If so, it is just a matter of time before all American firearm manufacturers will be in the same boat.
