I can remember saying I'd never own a GLOCK,never own an AR15 and never get married. I found out that never is a long, long time!

When I think of shooting, I think of my two Henrys.

I don't own very many guns, but I started my shooting hobby a few years ago with an H001 and soon after bought a .357 Big Boy. Whenever I go to the range, I shoot one of the Henrys and always pair that rifle with an SA revolver of the same caliber, alternating and shooting five rounds from each.

These 2 guns travel alot to the range anymore. The Henry SGC and the Uberti Cattleman 12 shot are a great combination. As soon as I grab my SGC I always wonder if PT is on his way to shoot to.

These 2 have made the trip quite frequently also its just hard to leave the 357 levers and single actions at home anymore. I also have a Henry BB in 357 along with another Ruger Flattop with the 9mm cylinder.

Without a doubt my favorite pair but these 2 have been lonely lately. I havent had my favorite caliber the 41 mag out in a while. Just need more time.

Couldnt forget this pair. I put these up especially for my computer friend to the north just to let RR know his caliber is alive a little further down the rockies.
That is quite the collection! I guess they must come in pairs. I have been thinking about pairing my stainless steel S/W .357 with a stainless steel .357 rifle. The only one I seen so far that I like is a Marlin 1894.

Nevertheless, when I thinking of shooting, I think of this:

Then, this:

It might be because of less moving parts.

I mean, if it's a nice day and I have that thought, "Hey it would be a good day to shoot", It's usually the Heritage RR, the H001 or this one that will come to mind; an old Marlin 25N.

Funny, NCG didn't exclude black rifles, but somehow everything looks out of antiquity; must be the clientele. :D

Rifle: Marlin 783 or Ruger Model 1
Pistol: S&W Model 31-1 (just fun to shoot) or Sig P220

I received my Winchester 1892 in .357 a couple of weeks ago but haven't had time to get to the range to shoot! Been too damn busy or health issues the last three weeks! I'll try and post some pics later.

Nope, I learned long ago that, although I don't have any interest in black guns, they can be made into outstandingly accurate shooters. Have a couple of friends that shoot that platform and I've seen what they can do with a highly tuned AR. Might surprise some folks. Just not my thing, but I do respect any accurate rifle, no matter what the platform.
