Newly acquired CZ 75 9mm
Newly acquired CZ 75 9mm
After an eight day wait for my background check yesterday I took possession of a new CZ 75 pistol. It is the Omega version that has an interchangeable de-cocker/safety. Also the Omega is known to have an improved trigger over the original B model. Haven’t fired it yet but the trigger in single action is very nice to dry fire. I need to just take the time to go to the range and do some shooting and give this sweetie a run. Complete with two 16 round magazines which us Washington State residents will no longer be able to purchase starting 07/01. It has the rubber grip panels and they feel very nice in my hand. Hoping to post a range report soon.

I keep thinking of delving into a second CZ product. My TSO is a pleasant gun to shoot, but the last thing I need is another brand of gun to buy more models of.

Very nice. CZ makes a very fine gun. I was very impressed when I had a chance to fire one. Smart move to order that before the hi-cap ban kicks in. You might want to get a few more magazines, also.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Re: Newly acquired CZ 75 9mm
Excellent choice, I use one back in the day when they came from the factory with a black paint job, instead of blueinq. I would shoot 2 or 3 times a week ( at least 100 rds. each time) at the indoor range in Austin, and 2 times a month I would shoot a USPSA Matches ( another 125 to 150 rds,] [ 9mm 130 qr cast lead bullet, & loaded to minor). Somewhere between 7500 & 8000 rounds, I started to have extraction problems. I just threw the old 1500 misc. empty cases away replaced them with 1000 new Shooting Stars and kept going. Problem Solved . . .

Nice pistol. I held one of these 2 weeks ago and was able to put it down. But I haven't forgotten about it. Let us know how it works for you.

I would love to have a Shadow 2 Optic Ready, but I can't rationalize $1600. So my daily carry gun is a P10F OR with upgraded trigger, a Surefire Light and a I can’t recall the brand red dot. Even with all that it is less than $900. It sure shoots sweetly, I really like CZ rifles and handguns. I wish they made a lever action rifle….
I second the “buy more mags now”, the stupid upcoming WA ban may get overturned, but maybe not. IF you can find any in stock. Lots of pretty gun bling here:

Hey John, didn’t I see a Shadow 2 for sale on Guntrader?
There’s a 75B mag for sale too, a mecgar for $25. But the seller is in Post Falls and I don’t want to drive that far for a mag. I do see new mecgars for around $27 but then there’s tax and shipping.
After reading posts on here about CZ rimfires I’m going to take a look at them. Also the .223 bolt rifles look appealing but I’m thinking that I saw that they are discontinued???? This is my first CZ and while I haven’t shot it yet (shame on me) I sure like the look and feel of it.

Have a CZ 455 lux with barrels for 22lr, 22 mag, and .17 HMR. Fitted with a good scope I couldn't be happier. Smooth bolt and great adjustable trigger.
I checked out the CZ 75 B Omega again today. They have 2 at $699 at the LGS. I may have to lay one away tomorrow. I hear only good things about them.

Sorry I can’t give you a range report yet, been burning the candle at both ends and in the middle.Ernie wrote: ↑Fri May 13, 2022 7:00 pmHave a CZ 455 lux with barrels for 22lr, 22 mag, and .17 HMR. Fitted with a good scope I couldn't be happier. Smooth bolt and great adjustable trigger.

There’s a CZ 452 with upgrades for sale on out local trader site that I’m lusting for. I’ve read lots of great reviews here on HRF about CZ rimfires and I’m tempted. But at 1K without scope….
