They didn’t elaborate. Maybe more info will come with the new gun.

Not a criticism but Henry service techs don't often elaborate and I doubt further info will show up. I've tried to get additional info on repairs I've had done but 'tis a hard task. In my thinking, part of that brevity is that service work and CS doesn't leave the Henry Folk much free time to write out many details. But always grateful they do take care of anything wrong --- with high attention to customers' satisfaction.

Enjoy your new AR7!

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

.
With my repair I got a vague report of what was done. So I called and asked for more info and they gladly provided it.

Got the replacement rifle today. I’m not happy. Here’s what the breech face looks like straight from the factory. This is unacceptable. Firing pin damage and another big dent at the top of the picture.

Just heard from Henry. They’re sending me yet another barrel. I’m beginning to think these guns just aren’t that good.

This is unacceptable CS from HRA. Please send that latest picture and express your continued disappointment along with a link to this forum thread to the President of HRA, Anthony Imperato at

Anthony@Henryusa.com

He will certainly be grateful for bringing it to his attention. Thanks for keeping us posted.

I sent the picture to him. I just hope when the new barrel gets here that the gun functions. I’m losing patience.

Here’s his reply. Hope he lectures some of his employees.

Thank you Sir for owning a Henry, your extended patience and for reaching
out to me. I certainly appreciate it. Very sorry to see this and my
apologies.
